Collection: South American Wines
The first vines in South America were planted more than 500 years ago by the Spanish; the hot, dry regions of Argentina and Chile were found to be particularly well-suited to viticulture, and the industry in those countries have thrived since.
Impressive value for money means that we are all familiar with simple, delicious wines, but there are some incredible premium wines coming from the region that deserve serious attention.
Innovators are experimenting with natural and orange wines, Brazil is producing excellent sparkling wines, while Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay and even Ecuador are establishing wine industries that are now gaining international respect.
