Very much a family affair, this producer has been growing grapes in Loire for 11 generations and has 15 hectares in Sancerre. Focussed on authenticity of the region, sustainable farming methods and modernity, they produce wines that are fresh and vibrant. This rose comes from vines that are over 20 years old.
On the nose: This salmon pink wine has a powerful bouquet that combines red berry fragrances of strawberry, cherry and red currant, with spicy nuances.
On the palate: Beautiful balance between wild strawberry flavours, freshness and a lovely full body. The floral and fruity aromas nicely line the palate and the finish is light and long.
Food pairing: Prawn linguine and light goat's cheeses.
