Grown less than 15 miles from Tring Winery, Double Hedges is a vineyard of less than three acres, based in the village of Toddington. He mainly grows Bacchus and Solaris, two grapes perfectly suited to the English climate, plus a few experimental plantings.
This 2015 Bacchus, winner of a Gold Medal at the WineGB awards, was made into wine by Litmus Wines. It has a touch more age and complexity than most Bacchus you will find, but it works fantastically well.
It's a delicious, fragrant dry white wine and we think offers great value, as well as coming from a local grower.
