Based in the Kamptal region, amongst the hills just north of the Danube, where Gruner Veltliner is the specialty. Boasting an enviable history, including Dr Lorenz Moser III, aka. Grandpa Gruner, who came up with the innovative trellising system used for Gruner in the 1930s.
On the nose: Apple and peach aromas, and a lively green pepper element.
On the palate: Classically dry, fresh with a zippy spiciness. Apple fruit to the fore. Some concentration and wonderful minerality maintaining it’s crisp nature.
Food pairing: Lighty spiced Asian dishes, Sea Bass or mussels.
