Every year, Paso-Prima is a completely unique wine with the only rule being to make the best wine possible. The 2017 edition is a bombastic blend of Garnacha and Cabernet-Sauvignon which is soft, supple and bursting with bramble fruits.
Paso-Prima supports the fantastic British Trust for Ornithology to highlight the importance of cork forests to migrating birds from the UK and around the world. Using cork is vitally important to maintaining healthy bird populations; even the beloved Wren is at risk of losing essential habitat. That’s why 25% of the profits of from this wine are being donated to the British Trust for Ornithology.
To celebrate the individuality of Paso-Prima we give each vintage a unique label. This year’s label has been created by Lyn Evans who used copies of the BTO’s magazine to pay a fitting homage our beloved Wren.
